**PARZIVAL UPDATE 2 - We will be continuing the performances despite the forecast for heavy showers. If the rain becomes very persistent we will move indoors and the show will become more of a story telling focussed event. Please come prepared with suitable clothing for very wet weather!
A unique outdoor promenade performance wandering the grounds of Sharpham House. Written by Peter Oswald and Martin Shaw and Directed by Harry Burton, Parzival is a brand new theatrical telling of one of the greatest stories of European mythology ‘Parzival’s quest for the HOLY GRAIL'.
Parzival showgoers are advised to dress for the outdoors, with warm clothes and sturdy footwear appropriate for the local weather conditions. Each performance will take place over the space of approximately two hours, with an interval for refreshments. The show is suitable for those aged 10 years and above.
THERE IS FREE PARKING AT SHARPHAM HOUSE, OR A FREE MINI-BUS AVAILABLE FROM TOTNES TRAIN STATION. BUSES DEPART 6.30PM (evening shows) AND 1.30PM (matinees). MINIBUS TICKETS ARE LIMITED AND MUST BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE. BOTH THEATRE AND MINIBUS TICKETS CAN BE BOOKED ONLINE (SEE BELOW). PLEASE BOOK EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT!
Access to some parts of the estate may be challenging for people with mobility difficulties. There are two all terrain mobility scooters available which must be booked in advance. Please call for more information .
SPECIAL OFFER - On Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, there is a unique opportunity to stay for B&B in the beautiful grade 1 listed Sharpham House. Rooms are allocated on a first come first served basis. Cost: £60 per person per night.
